25th Day:

Someone told me I'm a walking map...

Early in the morning, I have to report on duty. Yesterday's experience was great! Which I wrote in my 24th day - My 365 days.

I send a message to friend this morning to apologize for not replying yesterday and I told her what happened. Then my friend told me "you know you're like a walking map," and then I laughed. I asked him why did he say that I'm like a walking map. And he answered me back, "it's because you can easily remember the name of the street the place and you know how to get there even if you are new to the place."

I just smiled. Sort of, i'm like that but that's not how it supposed to be. Maybe it's a skill that I learned from my dad when I was with him when I was young.

I remember him telling me to memorize all the sign boards I can see at the start of our trip. Everytime we go to the city that was my assignment and he would ask me all the signages I saw along the road.

Maybe that was a help. I can easily remember name of the streets and where the roads usually intersects. I love giving landmarks to the new place I've been. Maybe that's a skill I learned but I'm not a walking map.

Sometimes, I have this weird thing in my head. I imagine roads and where they intersect everytime I have target place to go.

But I really love traveling especially when I commute. I enjoy traveling when I commute, i got to know the place and familiarize it.

Life has many roads to memorize. We have short cuts and long way but neither of them can stop or prohibit what we don't what to happen and what we fear to happen. If things are meant to happen, I guess it will no matter how careful you are.
